Driving Instructor Training
We can train you to become a
Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency Approved Driving Instructor
Legal Requirements
The initial legal requirements are that you have held your driving licence for 4 years, it preferably has no points on it, and you have not been banned from driving.
If you have held your licence for over 3 years you could start the qualification process, with the aim of being qualified as soon as you do fulfil the 4 year requirement.
If your licence has points on it or you have been banned please contact us for further advice, you may still be eligible to become a Driving Instructor.
Qualification Process
There are 3 examinations to pass to become a
Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency Approved Driving Instructor.
Part 1 ADI Theory Test (and hazard perception)
Part 2 Driving Ability
Part 3 Ability to Instruct
Training
We provide training for all 3 parts of the qualifying exams, and can also provide you with a position as a Driving Instructor with Birmingham Driving School, or one of our many other driving schools in the West Midlands area when you qualify.
We can also offer training for existing Driving Instructors who wish to prepare for a Standards Check (formerly called a check test), or are just looking to develop and further improve their skills.
More Information
Please contact us, either by e mail or telephone, and we will send you a brochure, giving full details of how to become a Driving Instructor.
